March is supposed to be a month in which we transition from winter fishing to our warmer water fish. Live bait becomes more available and the fish will actually eat those baits. Also in this transition month, tarpon are known to lay up in the shallows of protected bays warming in the sun. Well, as I write, this we have experienced yet another cold front.
